Dacron rope running through pulley

That angle of the pull rope must be greater than 90 degrees before the “Slider” will move up the cable. The weight of the pulley and lifting rope is temporally held by tape to the pull rope.

We welded about 40 feet of old R25 together for the extra anchor points. We are preparing to transfer it to the buggy.

Sam - KC4TAQ pulling the slider.

We’ve got the hole dug and are ready to plant the tower. There is a rope tied to the tower and looped over the tilt bar and down to the bumper to keep it from sliding as it is tilted. Sam will back up the buggy as I guide it into the hole. The pulleys and tower sections are part of the support for a 2 wavelength 160 meter sky loop. More on that after it is up and running.
