” That “revelation” is what caused us to set aside our complete trust in John Glenn and take a look at the books. It was only then that the magnitude of the problem began to come into focus. When I began to realize what John had been doing over the years, principally with the money, I went to him in an attempt to reconcile our differences. Had he made just one sincere attempt to meet me partway all of this could have been avoided. I told him and other Alpha board members, “We don’t want to go into the books”. One member agreed and said “no, we don’t want to go into the books”. John’s statement to me was, “If you think you have found something, save it for your Boy Scout lawyer, I have nothing to hide”. My response was, “if you really believe the books to be accurate then you need to immediately fire your bookkeeper”…. More of the “revelation” will be revealed over time.
